Sale of Liquor - Terms and Conditions of Sale

Under The Sale of Liquor Act 1989, The Art of Giving Limited is authorised to sell or deliver liquor on or from the premises situated at 243 Thorndon Quay, Wellington. The Art of Giving has an off-license to sell liquor granted by the Wellington District Licensing Agency on 24th March 2010. License number: 049/OFF/12/2011

Customers must be 18 or over and not be intoxicated in order to make a purchase on this site. It is illegal to purchase alcohol under the age of 18. It is also illegal to make a false declaration of age in order to purchase alcohol – making a false representation to a licensee about your age is subject to a $2,000 penalty.

Customers are required to certify that they are 18 years of age or over to be able to purchase alcohol from this site.

Delivery Information
We sell our products within New Zealand and use a courier service to deliver most of our products. Smaller products identified as Free Delivery are generally sent using regular New Zealand Post postal services. Orders are sent out each day Monday to Friday from our Wellington location.  Please allow up to 3-5 days for delivery, depending on your location.
Cost for courier delivery:
Wellington $8
North Island $13
South Island $16
Please note Rural Deliveries take an additional 2 - 4 days longer than City deliveries.
If you require items sent overseas or Saturday or public holiday delivery, please contact us to discuss additional costs involved.

Returns
We would like all our customers to enjoy their purchases from us. If you are not satisfied with your purchase, please return it in a timely manner for refund or replacement.

Transaction Safety and Privacy
Please be assured that your payment information is secure. Transactions are made through a secure server that is external to The Art of Giving.
Your personal privacy is important to us. We do require contact information in order to process your order however we can assure you that we do not share this information with any other parties. We may periodically contact you with information about upcoming specials or promotions.

Product Substitution
In the event that we are out of stock of the exact item requested within a product assortment and are unable to contact you prior to required dispatch time, we will substitute a product of equivalent value in order to complete the order in a timely manner. Please be assured we would always attempt to contact you and discuss the sitution prior to making any subsitution.

Artwork Colours
Please be aware that artwork colours vary due to differences in processes used to apply them to various product types. Also, on screen representation of colours will differ due to variations in browsers and screen type.
